Job Title: Police Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Police Officer to join our team at the City of Pleasanton, CA. As a Police Officer, you will play a critical role in maintaining public safety and protecting the community.

Job Summary

The Police Officer will be responsible for enforcing laws and regulations, responding to emergency calls, and providing support to the community. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Enforce laws and regulations to maintain public safety and order
  • Respond to emergency calls and provide assistance to the community
  • Conduct investigations and gather evidence to solve crimes
  • Provide support and assistance to the public, including crisis intervention and conflict resolution
  • Collaborate with other law enforcement agencies and community organizations to achieve public safety goals
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Basic Certificate from P.O.S.T. required
  • Valid Class C California driver's license required
  • Ability to pass a thorough background investigation and pre-employment testing
