Job Summary

DISH, a leading provider of connectivity solutions, is seeking a highly skilled IT SOX Compliance Senior to join our team. As a key member of our Financial organization, you will play a vital role in supporting our game-changing ideas with creative solutions to complex problems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify improvement opportunities in SOX relevant areas, define and implement effective controls, and analyze their impact on financial statement risks.
  • Evaluate and ensure IT processes and ICOFR are appropriately defined to mitigate financial statement risks while maintaining a holistic view.
  • Conduct IT & adjacent process walkthroughs to ensure control objectives are met and sufficient coverage is maintained.
  • Define remediation processes and analyze the extent of any control deficiencies and mitigation procedures from a management perspective.
  • Work with vendors to understand relevant Service Organization Controls and define how they translate to our company.
  • Review new projects on a periodic basis to determine SOX impact and help design relevant SOX controls.
  • Provide recommendations to business process teams on how to leverage technology for operational and SOX optimization.
  • Interface with management on all required activities and with Internal and External audit teams around SOX scoping and controls definition.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CISA or equivalent certification in IT/InfoSec audits (or awaiting license).
  • Good to have: CPA or equivalent certification (or awaiting license).
  • 3 years of experience in SOX audits/compliance roles.
  • 1 year of experience in working on a major ERP (SAP/Oracle).
  • 1 year of experience working on IT General/Application controls.
  • 1 year of experience working in public accounting firms (Tier I/Tier II).
  • 1 year of experience in using COBIT and/or COSO frameworks.
  • Experience auditing/building processes/working on end-to-end lifecycle of at least 1 common business process.
Compensation

Salary range: $72,350.00/Year - $103,400.00/Year. We offer versatile health perks, including flexible spending accounts, HSA, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, career opportunities, and a flexible time away plan.

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
