Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Bakery Department Supervisor to join our team at Whole Foods Market. As a key member of our bakery department, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and delegate tasks to Bakery Team Members, promoting a positive work environment and encouraging teamwork.
  • Collaborate with the Bakery Trainer to develop and implement training programs that foster a high-performance team and minimize turnover.
  • Assist in the onboarding process for new Team Members, utilizing learning checklists and training materials to ensure seamless integration.
  • Maintain a clean and well-organized workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations and company standards.
  • Ensure effective communication among team members, addressing concerns and fostering open dialogue.
  • Foster a culture of excellence, promoting outstanding retail execution and customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated expertise in bakery team procedures and policies.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to teach and mentor others in a constructive manner.
  • Thorough knowledge of products and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficient mathematical skills for assessing financial performance and managing inventory.
Experience:
  • A minimum of 12 months of retail experience, preferably in a supervisory or leadership role.
Salary:

$60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
