Scion Staffing is proud to present a challenging and rewarding position for an Assistant Program Director (Education) at our client, a reputable nonprofit early childhood education provider in Massachusetts.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading high-quality educational programs, fostering positive learning environments, and supporting the growth of early childhood educators. This full-time, direct-hire opportunity offers a competitive salary range of $75,000 - $95,000 annually, along with comprehensive benefits including health insurance, paid holidays, generous paid time off, and professional development opportunities.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement developmentally appropriate curricula aligned with early childhood best practices and state regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with state licensing regulations, participate in quality improvement initiatives, and maintain NAEYC accreditation.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise early childhood educators, providing ongoing professional development opportunities.
  • Manage day-to-day operations, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Foster strong relationships with parents through regular communication, conferences, and involvement in program activities.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in supervising staff and developing curriculum plans.
  • Meet EEC qualifications for Director II.
  • Working knowledge of developmental skills and program development.
  • Passion for early childhood education and leadership.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
