About the Role

We are looking for a talented engineer with expertise in high voltage electrical systems to support the design development, implementation, and technical analysis of various systems. The successful candidate will work alongside our professional engineers to create solutions that provide reliable, sustainable energy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the design development, implementation, and technical analysis of high voltage electrical systems
  • Prepare technical reports, contract documents, and cost estimates for various engineering tasks
  • Develop and maintain a familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as the firm's and client's practices, procedures, and standards
  • Collaborate with senior staff to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering is required
  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification required
  • Minimum of 2 years of related engineering experience is required
  • Strong knowledge of engineering, computational, and modeling software (Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.)
  • Good working knowledge of electrical codes (IEEE, NEC, NFPA, CSA, OESC)
  • Familiar with QA/QC procedures
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adapt communication style to suit various audiences
  • Desire to work in a collaborative team environment with the willingness to assist more senior staff
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software required
  • Participation in a professional engineering society/organization is preferred
What We Offer

CHA Consulting, Inc. offers a competitive salary range of $75,000 - $88,000, based on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
