The Client Relations Team Specialist serves as a key resource to clients, providing prompt, efficient, and high-quality service. This role involves communicating with clients regarding their policy(ies), documenting detailed records of communication in the client management program, and providing resolution to client concerns.
Key Responsibilities- Communicate with clients regarding policy(ies) and document detailed records of communication
- Provide resolution to client concerns and document endorsements
- Follow up with necessary contacts on items needed for policy issuance
- Prepare documents for presenting risks to market
- Maintain a focus on timeliness and completeness when interacting with clients, the firm, and insurance company partners to minimize potential for errors and omissions claims
- Record surplus lines taxes and payables
- Complete special projects as assigned
- Look for opportunities to improve the firm, business segment, and processes
- Bring issues and discrepancies to appropriate leadership
- Current State Insurance License, as required by the State Department of Insurance to provide client services as necessary in states where the firm functions or be willing and able to obtain all required licenses within the first 90 days of employment
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to learn appropriate insurance company and firm software programs, including but not limited to Epic and PowerPoint
- Capable of typing a minimum of 55 words per minute
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Takes initiative to contribute as a proactive and determined professional
- Uses accuracy and thoroughness while completing job responsibilities
- Demonstrates the firm's behavioral tenets, exuding behavior that is aligned with the corporate culture
This is a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
