We are currently seeking a committed Commercial Loan Support Specialist to enhance our exceptional team. This role involves essential tasks related to the processing, assembling, and verifying the accuracy of commercial loan documentation. You will be responsible for preparing commercial loan documents, servicing, and ensuring the proper management of booked loans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately prepare commercial loan documentation and amendments in accordance with departmental turnaround standards.
  • Book various types of commercial loans and amendments within a 24-hour timeframe.
  • Conduct loan maintenance and fulfill research requests for commercial loans.
  • Handle routine loan maintenance tasks, including processing payments and managing automatic fund transfers.
  • Manage commercial loan payoffs and document the release of collateral as authorized.
  • Maintain organized pending files and follow up on outstanding items weekly.
  • Review commercial loan files, compile necessary documentation, and track exceptions.
  • Investigate unposted transactions and make necessary corrections.
  • Perform quality checks on all booked commercial loans and address any discrepancies.
  • Complete tasks required for HMDA LAR and CRA reporting.
  • Cross-train team members as needed.
  • Deliver prompt and knowledgeable customer service to both internal and external clients.
  • Engage in community service initiatives.
  • Adhere to all relevant laws and regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act and the Patriot Act.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial loan policies and documentation.
  • Familiarity with banking policies and procedures.
  • Strong multitasking abilities and efficiency in handling complex tasks.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Proficient in basic office equipment and software, including Word and Excel.
  • Comprehensive understanding of required documentation and signature protocols for various entities.
  • In-depth knowledge of title reports and lien positions.

Preferred Skills:

  • Previous banking experience.
  • Familiarity with Mountain West Bank's systems and software.
