We are looking for a skilled Senior Associate Attorney with extensive experience in general litigation, particularly in the realm of employment law. This position entails delivering thorough legal guidance to our clients, overseeing intricate litigation cases, and ensuring adherence to employment legislation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive legal research and analysis on various employment law issues, including discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, wage and hour disputes, and leave regulations.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate employment agreements, severance packages, and other related documentation.
  • Advise management on employment-related matters, including risk evaluation and mitigation strategies.
  • Represent clients in administrative hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and court proceedings as necessary.
  • Develop and implement employment policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
  • Keep updated on developments in employment law and provide regular insights to management.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctorate from an accredited law institution.
  • Must be admitted to the New Jersey Bar; admission to the New York Bar is a plus.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in general litigation with a strong focus on employment law.
  • Proven experience in drafting and negotiating employment contracts and agreements.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Proficient in legal research and writing.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in employment litigation within state and federal courts.
  • Familiarity with employment law regulations across various jurisdictions.

  • Contract to Permanent position.
