Job Overview:
This role involves receiving and managing work requests from the campus community, prioritizing tasks, processing requests, and scheduling maintenance activities for equipment.
It is crucial to maintain effective communication with the campus community, providing updates on their requests. Responsibilities also include scheduling and assigning vehicles and drivers for various departmental needs, including student trips and meetings. Additionally, the coordinator will maintain various reports and oversee end-of-month billing processes.This position is considered essential, requiring attendance even during campus closures.
Key Responsibilities:
45% A. Manage incoming work requests, input them into the work management system, prioritize tasks, and schedule accordingly. Communicate with students, faculty, and staff regarding any delays and ensure timely completion of work orders and preventative maintenance. Train staff on the mobile work management system and ensure accurate entry of hours and parts.
5% B.
Issue keys for specific locations to mechanics and maintain a log for key returns. Manage contractor sign-ins and issue necessary access badges and keys. Communicate with supervisors regarding completed work and any additional tasks needed.
20% C. Collect event information weekly and create work orders for staff and environmental services.Generate reports for temperature adjustments in buildings for events and create monthly billing reflecting total events and required resources.
5% D. Maintain communication with mechanics and environmental services staff via radio for urgent requests.10% E.
Coordinate vehicle and driver schedules for trips, ensuring all necessary information is provided to drivers.
Assist faculty and students with vehicle rental paperwork and maintain records for billing purposes.5% F. Keep accurate records for all buildings, updating the work management system with new or repaired equipment and generating necessary reports.

Handle pest control requests from the community, assigning appropriate personnel to address issues and maintaining logs for follow-up.
Attend meetings and assist with additional projects as assigned.Education Requirements:
Required:
High School Diploma
Preferred:
Associate's degree
Professional Experience:
Required: 5 years of experience in computerized dispatching systems.
Preferred: 5 years of experience in a similar role within a college or university setting.
Compensation:
$22.78-$26.81
