Job Overview

The Learning Experience #200 is seeking a dedicated and passionate Infant Teacher to join our team. As an Infant Teacher, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for our youngest learners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead an infant classroom, partnering with other lead teachers to ensure a cohesive and effective learning environment.
  • Coach and mentor less experienced teachers, modeling behaviors and providing feedback to support their growth and development.
  • Responsible for overall classroom management, maintaining a safe and engaging space for children to play and learn.
  • Serve as a role model, using a growth mindset to develop young minds and inspire a love of learning.
  • Implement our proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum, working with infants in a way that is consistent with their unique needs and abilities.
  • Communicate regularly with parents, sharing their child's latest adventures and achievements through various channels.
  • Support the center's success, partnering with staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment and engagement.
  • Build relationships with families and coworkers, creating a dynamic environment where play and learning happen seamlessly.
Qualifications
  • Candidates must be qualified or seeking Early Childhood Educator qualifications, as required by the state of Colorado.
  • 1 year of professional teaching experience preferred; at least 6 months of experience required.
  • Associate degree or higher in ECE or a related field preferred; high school diploma/GED required.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP).
  • CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Candidates must have cleared FBI/CBI/Trails background checks.
  • Strong written and spoken communication skills.
