Role Responsibilities: Join our Manufacturing Engineering division, where you will work alongside design engineers to introduce digital microwave systems. Your responsibilities will include developing prototypes, scaling production, and transferring expertise to manufacturing partners. You will play a crucial role in creating manufacturing, assembly, and testing solutions for new products while ensuring cost-effectiveness and product quality throughout the product lifecycle. Additionally, you will be instrumental in incorporating Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Test (DFT) principles into the initial product design.
Key Duties:
- Establish and validate manufacturing processes at contract facilities.
- Collaborate with design engineers to embed DFX principles into new product designs.
- Oversee manufacturing capacity to achieve production goals.
- Develop strategies for enhancing quality and reducing costs in manufacturing processes.
- Engage with production sites to integrate their requirements into product design and assembly solutions.
- Participate in engineering design evaluations and lead assembly and testing methodologies.
- Provide solutions to optimize production processes.
- Perform other related tasks as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Civil, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing process engineering within a high-volume environment.
- Experience in RF radio is preferred.
- Familiarity with statistical methods, Six Sigma, process characterization, and SPC.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management abilities.
- Willingness to travel internationally.
