RESPONSABILIDADES Y DEBERES:

  • El Coordinador de Operaciones de Vuelo es responsable de supervisar y coordinar las actividades de seguimiento de vuelos asignadas a nivel global;
  • Monitorea y realiza el seguimiento de múltiples aeronaves durante las operaciones de vuelo, incluyendo salidas, llegadas, paradas intermedias y desvíos;
  • Presenta, actualiza y supervisa los planes de vuelo, así como rastrea las aeronaves utilizando informes de posición por satélite y/o informes de posición por radio;
  • Monitorea aeronaves posicionadas en alta mar o ubicadas en bases no pertenecientes a la empresa;
  • Despacha, rastrea y supervisa aeronaves de Búsqueda y Rescate cuando sea aplicable;
  • Gestiona comunicaciones bidireccionales a través de radio y teléfono satelital para mantener el control operativo de las aeronaves cuando sea aplicable;
  • Coordina actividades con el ATC según sea necesario;
  • Asiste a la tripulación en la obtención de las autorizaciones requeridas para aterrizajes y plataformas en instalaciones offshore;
  • Realiza seguimiento global de vuelos en todas las unidades de negocio;
  • Comunica las condiciones meteorológicas a las tripulaciones de vuelo;
  • Inicia acciones del Plan de Respuesta a Emergencias, según sea necesario;
  • Informa cualquier discrepancia o problema de inmediato al Supervisor de Turno y/o al Gerente del OCC;
  • Registra el combustible cargado en alta mar y mantiene una hoja de seguimiento de la información proporcionada;
  • Está familiarizado con el contenido de las secciones aplicables del Manual de Operaciones, el Manual del Centro de Control de Operaciones y el Plan de Respuesta a Emergencias;
  • Realiza otras tareas según se le asigne.

CALIFICACIONES MÍNIMAS:

  • Se requieren excelentes habilidades organizativas y de comunicación;
  • Debe ser detallista y capaz de trabajar en un entorno dinámico;
  • Debe estar bien organizado y ser capaz de trabajar de manera independiente y como miembro activo de un equipo;
  • Se requiere dominio de MS Word, Excel y Outlook;
  • Debe ser capaz de operar un sistema telefónico multilineal;
  • Debe ser capaz de realizar una variedad de tareas y asignaciones;
  • Se prefiere experiencia previa en aviación, pero no es obligatoria;
  • Se prefiere la certificación de Despachador de la FAA/NAAD, pero no es obligatoria.
