RouteSmart Technologies Inc is seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Technician to ensure the highest standards of quality and performance in our RouteSmart product lines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive testing and validation of features and bug corrections across all RouteSmart products
  • Identify, validate and/or document defects/enhancements in a centralized issue tracking system
  • Execute coordinated test scenarios in accordance with approved test plans and procedures
  • Maintain detailed documentation of testing plans and testing results
  • Engage in daily scrums and sprint planning
  • Assist data processing of street data
  • Maintain appropriate VM sessions to test in alternative environments including operation systems and GIS versions as well as RouteSmart product versions
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in software testing preferred
  • Very detail oriented and organized
  • Motivated to meet deadlines
  • Ability to question and think creatively to imagine end-user interaction
  • Strong interpersonal skills – verbal and written
  • Self-motivated
  • Bachelor's degree in a related area such as GIS/Geography/Business preferred
  • Understanding of the Agile development process preferred
  • Understanding of RouteSmart products preferred
  • Experience with GIS software preferred
