Key Responsibilities
• Identify and assess compliance risks through thorough reviews of business activities, changes, processes, testing, and systems.
• Investigate potential market abuse, including insider dealing, unlawful disclosure, market manipulation, or anti-competitive conduct.
• Conduct investigations of compliance risk events or breaches, and oversee corrective actions and preventative measures to avoid future occurrences.
• Implement compliance policies and procedures in line with regulatory requirements and ensure alignment with international standards, including jurisdictional requirements.
• Collaborate with 1LOD, other relevant Compliance teams, and legal, and relevant risk management functions to facilitate a comprehensive approach to compliance and risk management.
Vice President Expectations
• Advise key stakeholders, including functional leadership teams and senior management, on functional and cross-functional areas of impact and alignment.
• Manage and mitigate risks through assessment, in support of the control and governance agenda.
• Demonstrate leadership and accountability for managing risk and strengthening controls in relation to the work your team does.
• Demonstrate comprehensive understanding of the organization's functions to contribute to achieving the goals of the business.
• Collaborate with other areas of work, for business-aligned support areas, to keep up to speed with business activity and the business strategies.
• Create solutions based on sophisticated analytical thought, comparing and selecting complex alternatives.
• Adopt and include the outcomes of extensive research in problem-solving processes.
• Seek out, build, and maintain trusting relationships and partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to accomplish key business objectives, using influencing and negotiating skills to achieve outcomes.
Requirements
• 3-5 years of Financial Crime experience preferred.
• Project management and controls experience.
• Familiarity with controls and regulations and how they work in the bank.
• Practical experience with administering Fin Crime oversight preferred.
Preferred Skills
• Prior KYC experience.
• Background in MI, KRI, KI.
• Solid attention to detail.
This role is located in Wilmington, DE.
