About the Role

Rural Broadband Company Inc is looking for a highly motivated Rural Broadband Network Technician to join our team. This role involves installing and maintaining rural broadband networks across various locations.

Main Tasks:
  • Installation and Maintenance: The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing new network infrastructure and maintaining existing systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Service Vehicle Operation: A valid driver's license with an insurable motor vehicle record is essential for operating a service vehicle.
  • Working at Heights: Comfortable working at heights on rooftops and towers while following safety protocols is crucial for this role.
Qualifications and Experience:

Key Requirements:

  • Familiarity with Ethernet cable standards and wireless networking technologies
  • Knowledge of routing protocols, IP addressing, and low voltage technology
  • Familiarity with consumer and industrial-grade router switches and electrical wiring
  • Experience with Linux, Windows 10, and Windows 11 operating systems
What We Offer:

A competitive salary of $55,000 - $65,000 per year, based on experience, along with opportunities for professional growth and development.
