Trauma Program Coordinator RN
About the Role:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to coordinate trauma services for assigned Virginia Mason Franciscan Health (VMFH) hospitals. This is a unique opportunity to work with a team of healthcare professionals dedicated to providing exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities:- Coordinate trauma services for assigned VMFH hospitals in accordance with established standards, practices, and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in the assessment of staff educational needs and develop/implement training for trauma providers.
- Develop policies/procedures to ensure trauma service meets regulatory and/or designation requirements.
- Interpret clinical data and review patient care in relation to legal standards of care.
- Work collaboratively with healthcare providers to provide training and consultative services in the care of trauma patients.
- Bachelor's degree in nursing and four years of recent related work experience preferably in an acute care hospital in Emergency, Trauma or Critical Care nursing.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse by the Washington State Nursing Commission.
Estimated salary range: $95,000 - $115,000 per year.
