Salary: $69,000 - $73,000 per year (dependent on experience)

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Dental Office Coordinator to join our team at Gentle Dental Northpointe. As the lead coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing the front and back office operations, ensuring seamless patient care and efficient office management.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a positive and professional work environment that promotes optimal patient care and customer satisfaction.
  • Supervise and mentor front and back office staff, providing guidance and support to ensure successful team performance.
  • Analyze and evaluate office production and procedures to identify areas for improvement, implementing changes to increase efficiency and profitability.
  • Manage office operations, including bookkeeping, invoice processing, cash control, payroll preparation, and other administrative duties.
  • Develop and implement office budgets, ensuring effective procurement of supplies and equipment.
  • Recruit, retain, and terminate staff members, working closely with HR to resolve employee issues.
  • Process dental insurance claims, negotiate with HMO and PPO dental plans, and present treatment plans to patients.
  • Maintain advanced knowledge of software systems to compile, store, and retrieve data for managerial reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with state dental laws, local health and safety regulations, and company policies.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of leadership experience in a similar role
  • Previous dental or healthcare management experience preferred but not required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including Denticon experience an asset
  • Bilingual an advantage
