Position Overview:
As a key member of our team, the Front Desk Agent plays a vital role in ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and support during their stay at Sandpiper Bay Resort. This position requires a friendly demeanor and a commitment to maintaining high standards of hospitality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering comprehensive information to guests regarding resort policies, available services, and amenities.
  • Assisting guests with inquiries about the local area, including directions and dining options.
  • Managing room sales for walk-in guests effectively.
  • Updating and managing reservation details within the property management system.
  • Processing guest charges and payments accurately.
  • Making necessary adjustments to guest accounts as required.
  • Communicating room status and availability to the housekeeping team.
  • Addressing and resolving guest complaints in a timely manner.
  • Operating the resort's switchboard or PBX system efficiently.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization at the front desk area.
  • Keeping daily logs and records up to date.
  • Balancing cash drawers and shift work accurately.

Additional Duties:
Performing any other responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor.

Technical Proficiencies:
Familiarity with computer systems and software, particularly OPERA Cloud and ALICE Hospitality Operations System, is preferred.
