Job Summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Store Customer Service Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our retail store team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, driving sales growth, and maintaining a high level of product knowledge.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to wholesale and retail customers, answering their questions about Sherwin-Williams products and recommending the right solutions.
  • Sales: Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining their needs and presenting appropriate products and services.
  • Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with product features and maintain a high level of product knowledge to effectively communicate with customers.
  • Store Maintenance: Maintain the high quality and visual standards of the products and store, including stocking shelves and setting up displays.
  • Inventory Management: Process sales transactions accurately and consistently, and maintain precise work order files and formulas.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive and productive work environment.
Requirements
  • Age: Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
  • Work Authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future.
  • Physical Demands: Must be able, with or without reasonable accommodation, to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion.
  • Education: High School diploma or GED required.
  • Experience: At least one (1) year experience working in a delivery, retail, or customer service position preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Driver's License: Valid, unrestricted Driver's License required.
  • Language Skills: Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in more than one language, with Spanish language skills preferred.
