Pilot - First Officer (Hawker 800)

The Second in Command is a critical role in ensuring the safe execution of flight duties. As a Senior Flight Officer, you will support the Pilot-in-Command in their final authority in the operation of the aircraft and exercise Operational Control on the Tier 2 level.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure the aircraft is ready for mission in coordination with AirMed's 121 dispatch team.
- Comply with all domestic and international guidance in accordance with applicable FARs, ICAO annexes, and individual AIPs.
- Disseminate pertinent information about flight operations through the operational control structure.
- Conduct yourself in a professional manner, being sensitive to the environment at all times.
- Attend meetings when required and may be required to attend training and check-flights outside of normal duty shift rotations.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Operations or Chief Pilot.
- Reside in or be willing to relocate to Birmingham, AL.
- Hold or be able to attain a High School PIC Type Rating.
- Hold or be eligible to hold an FAA ATP certificate.
- Meet or exceed the following total flight experience: Total time hours Airplane, Multi-Engine - 250 hours airplane multi-engine land, PIC - 250 Airplane.
- Hold or be able to attain a First-Class Medical Certificate and maintain First Class Privileges.
- Hold a valid US Passport.
- Be eligible to hold a Chinese 'C' class visa.
- Ability to walk, bend, stand, sit, and crouch unassisted for extended periods.
- Ability to lift 70 pounds.
- Ability to work day and night shifts as assigned.
- Ability to transport yourself to and from work.
- Starting salary ranging from $94,503-$116,183.10 based on experience.
- Annual scaled salary increases based on merit to a maximum of $144,970.
- 15,000 sign-on bonus (after successful completion of training/checkride).
- 40,000 retention bonus (6-month wait period and this is a 3-year program).
- 8/6 schedule.
- 3,000 relocation assistance.
