We are looking for an experienced Superconducting Qubit Specialist to join our team at the Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory (APL). As a key member of our team, you will propose and lead independent research projects focusing on novel superconducting quantum devices, controls, or characterization techniques.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a PhD in Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field, as well as 1+ years of post-doctoral experience with quantum systems. Your expertise in quantum measurements, dilution refrigerator operation, and RF control is essential. The salary for this position is estimated to be around $140,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
