Job Summary

Coca-Cola Bottling Company High Country is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sales Merchandiser to join our team. As a Sales Merchandiser, you will be responsible for merchandising products on designated routes, providing superior customer service, and maintaining strong customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Merchandise products on designated routes to ensure optimal product availability and presentation.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to all accounts serviced, fostering strong relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Operate manual and powered handling equipment, such as pallet jacks and hand-trucks, to transport products between backrooms and display floors.
  • Maintain and organize CCBCHC stock as needed, ensuring neat appearance of all CCBCHC equipment and product in assigned accounts.
  • Monitor competitor products, sales, and marketing activities to stay informed and competitive.
  • Transport, replace, and maintain Point of Sale advertising as appropriate for account.
  • Perform required vehicle checks according to CCBCHC standards.
  • Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to all safety protocols.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • 1-3 years of general work experience preferred.
  • Prior grocery store and/or consumer products experience a plus.
  • Customer service experience preferred.
  • Ability to operate a two or four-wheeled hand-truck.
  • Ability to operate all types of industrial power trucks.
  • Valid driver's license and a motor vehicle driving history that meets CCBCHC guidelines.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Adaptability, business acumen, communication, decision-making, enthusiasm, judgment, planning and organizing, reliability, quality management, safety and security, and honesty, integrity, trust, and respect.
Working Conditions

The noise level in the work environment can be moderately noisy due to manufacturing and/or warehousing equipment in operation. Must be willing to travel to other company locations approximately 10% and attend out-of-town training and/or seminars. Must be available to work some weekends and some holidays.
