Role Summary:
The Retail Store Team Member plays a vital role in our organization, contributing to the future of healthcare by addressing the unique needs of our customers. Your skills and commitment can help us make a positive impact on each person's health journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service by understanding and anticipating customer needs, showing empathy, and proactively resolving service challenges.
  • Engage customers with a warm greeting, maintain eye contact, and assist them in finding products as needed.
  • Perform cashier responsibilities accurately, managing cash, checks, and credit card transactions in accordance with company policies.
  • Maintain the sales floor by restocking merchandise, processing vendor deliveries, updating pricing, and managing inventory tasks as directed.
  • Support store opening and closing procedures as required.
  • Provide assistance across various departments, ensuring they are well-stocked and operational while staying informed about current services and tools.
  • Collaborate with pharmacy staff when necessary, including working shifts in the pharmacy for career development opportunities.
  • Promote new CVS services and loyalty programs that align with our mission of supporting individuals on their path to better health.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 16 years old.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to remain standing for extended periods.
  • Occasional lifting of up to 35 lbs, frequent lifting of up to 10 lbs, and regular movement of objects, including overhead lifting.
  • Close visual acuity for tasks such as reading and inspecting small details.

Preferred Experience:

  • Prior experience in a retail or customer service environment is advantageous.

Compensation:
The typical pay range for this position is $19.00 per hour. This range reflects the base hourly rate for all roles within this job grade. Actual salary offers may vary based on experience, education, location, and other relevant factors.
