About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Therapy Support Specialist to join our team at Medtronic. As a key member of our Pelvic Health team, you will play a critical role in supporting the InterStim Therapy groups in the areas of surgical coverage, follow-up, support, troubleshooting, customer service, and education within a territory.

Responsibilities
  • Represent Medtronic Neuromodulation during surgeries and implants by providing all necessary equipment and products required for the implant, demonstrating expertise in all aspects of implant, follow-up support, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Maintain current knowledge about assigned products and services as well as competitive products.
  • Proactively identify needs and teach a broader level of caregivers and account employees for new and existing accounts.
  • Educate and train physicians, hospital personnel, and office staff on technical matters relating to our products and therapies.
  • Assist district manager and in-house training department in education/training of new employees in the district.
  • Provide sales support during or following cases, completing necessary documentation and executing invoices in various situations.
  • Maintain open and effective communication with all district personnel, customers, and other Medtronic employees.
  • Contribute to the completion of milestones associated with specific projects at the regional and/or national level.
  • Understand and follow all quality policy/system items applicable to the role.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED and a minimum of 6 years of patient care/clinical experience, or an Associate's Degree and a minimum of 4 years of patient care/clinical experience, or a Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 2 years of patient care/clinical experience.
  • Clinical skill and knowledge, such as the ability to conduct a simple trial, implant, and/or refill a pump.
  • Clinical experience with implantable Neuromodulation products and stim experience.
  • Experience in servicing medical personnel on product use.
  • Experience working with a medical device or pharmaceutical company and clinical experience in a specialty area, such as urology, surgical, RN, neurology, neurosurgery, orthopedic, operating room, or home health care.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with sales and healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to coach others on the use of products and clinical applications.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize under pressure.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Salary ranges for U.S. (excl. PR) locations: $66,400.00 - $99,600.00

The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location.
