We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Educator II to join our team at Alameda Health System. This is a full-time position that will be responsible for developing and implementing educational programs to enhance the skills and competencies of our nursing staff.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement educational programs to meet the needs of our nursing staff, including orientation, annual education, and continuing education.
- Collaborate with AHS leadership team to develop a corrective action plan for any regulatory surveys.
- Assist in organizing and presenting educational in-services on new equipment, policies, procedures, and regulatory updates.
- Develop and maintain education files, including orientation program, annual skills competencies, and LMS records.
- Participate in AHS committees and develop educational plans as needed for any issues that require further staff education.
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing; Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN), Master's Degree in Nursing, Business, Public Health, Public Policy, and/or Education.
- Three (3) years of relevant nursing experience in an acute care setting for external hires and one (1) year of experience with orientation and education of nursing staff in clinical setting.
- Valid license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of California; Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification issued by the American Heart Association.
