The hospital maintains a robust staffing model with:

  • 7 Hospitalists on duty during the day
  • 1 Hospitalist on the swing shift
  • 1 Hospitalist at night

Our facility boasts an average census of 110 patients, with approximately 15 admissions during the day and swing shifts, and an average of 10 admissions at night.

As a 486-bed facility, we provide comprehensive specialty backup coverage, including:

  • Anesthesiology
  • Cardiology
  • General Surgery
  • Interventional Radiology
  • Rheumatology
  • Infectious Disease
  • Nuclear Medicine
  • Gastroenterology
  • Urology
  • Radiology
  • Vascular Surgery
  • Neurology
  • Intensivist
  • Pulmonology
  • Orthopedics

The Hospitalist will also be a part of the Rapid Response Team and will work in a Closed ICU environment where Intensivists manage codes. While procedures are not a requirement for this position, familiarity with them is beneficial.

We utilize Cerner EMR for our electronic medical records. Candidates must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Practice, possess relevant experience, and hold an active Arizona medical license along with ACLS certification.

The credentialing process typically takes 90 days, and we offer a competitive hourly rate for this position.
