Compliance Officer

Job Summary:
Ninos Inc is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Clerk-Compliance to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 3 years of experience in clerical duties, excellent data entry skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Windows environment and Office Suite.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Family Services Coordinator with documentations, files, and report verification.
- Assist with scheduling and preparing flyers for parent meetings and ongoing trainings.
- Support the Family Services Coordinator with content area forms.
- Assist in clothing drive distributions.
- Recruit volunteers.
- Seek donations for HS/EHS parent meetings and trainings.
- Attend Parent Committee Meetings.
- Contribute to fundraising projects and initial and final reports.
- Prepare handouts for parent meetings.
- Supply content area forms to all centers.
- Attend training and conferences as requested.
- Monitor parent meetings and centers.
- Enter data into ChildPlus.
- Filing.
- Generate reports and memos as requested by the Family Services Coordinator.
- Maintain a system of organization to expedite recruitment of children.
- Maintain working relationships with supportive agencies and institutions involved with Head Start families.
- Attend staff training through pre-service and in-service workshops.
- Support the efforts of Head Start families in enhancing their children's healthy wellbeing and academic success.
- Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor relative to program operations.
- Work on weekends, holidays, and/or evenings on special assigned projects and/or tasks as requested by the Executive/Head Start Director.
Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have no criminal record or pending charges.
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation with liability insurance.
- Must be able to speak, read, and write English.
- Must have or be willing to obtain First Aid/CPR certification.
- Must have a clear TB and physical examination before the first day of employment.
- Must have 3 years of experience in clerical duties.
- Must be skilled in data entry.
- Must have superior computer skills in the Microsoft Windows environment and Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Be bilingual - able or willing to learn to speak, read, and write English and Spanish.
- Be a local resident of Cameron or Willacy County.
- Be a person sensitive to the needs of the poor and disadvantaged.
