Position Summary:
We are seeking an Inventory Management Technician to become a vital member of our Clinical Systems division.

In this capacity, you will assist the Clinical Systems team by optimizing off-site inventory management and pharmacy operations to facilitate a smooth workflow for both our clients and internal stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will possess meticulous attention to detail and strong communication skills.

They will be a collaborative team player, ready to contribute wherever necessary and work alongside others to achieve the pharmacy's objectives and meet customer needs.


Key Responsibilities:
1. Execute daily tasks related to inventory management processes, including billing operations, inventory audits, medication restocking, and resolving discrepancies.

2. Serve as a subject matter expert on Automated Dispensing Cabinets, focusing on data reporting and extraction.

3. Create, enhance, monitor, and report on actionable metrics aimed at improving off-site inventory management practices.

4. Collaborate with Clinical Systems Coordinators and Specialists to define new processes and refine existing procedures for efficient execution of off-site inventory practices.

5. Conduct audits of both external (client) and internal (employee) usage of off-site inventory, providing insights and identifying opportunities for improvement to Clinical Systems and Operations teams.

6. Manage multiple tasks effectively while adhering to deadlines.

7. Engage with various levels and departments within the organization to implement best practices.

8. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
1. High school diploma or GED is mandatory.

2. 2-4 years of experience in a regulated environment is preferred.

3. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a diverse team setting.

4. Capability to stand for extended periods, up to 8 hours.

5. Dependable, able to perform under pressure and meet deadlines.

6. Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor.

7. Proficient in communication, investigation, and troubleshooting.

8. Familiarity with narcotics handling, data entry, customer service, and relevant procedures.

9. Knowledge of 21 CFR, DEA compliance, and narcotics regulations is essential.

10. Prior experience in auditing is advantageous.

Certifications/Licenses:
Valid pharmacy technician license for Kansas and Missouri.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

1. May be required to sit or stand for seven (7) to ten (10) hours daily.

2. The employee may occasionally need to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, walk, or crawl intermittently.

3. Extended hours may be necessary as required.

4. The ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds may be necessary.
