Position Overview:
The Consignment Analyst plays a crucial role in comprehending and managing the comprehensive processes associated with the Consignment and Implant program. This position is essential for facilitating all aspects of the role. The analyst is tasked with overseeing requests and receipts for consignment items through continuous inventory management, collaborating with clinical end-users to enhance patient care quality by reviewing and validating the products utilized, maintaining optimal inventory levels, and liaising with vendors to improve the consignment and implant program efficiency. This role supports various departments across the organization, working with multiple suppliers to manage consignment products in diverse locations and service lines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement system-wide processes for tissue, implants, and consignment products.
  • Collaborate with vendors/suppliers to effectively manage consignment inventory.
  • Assist in coordinating monthly and quarterly audits.
  • Respond to information requests from both internal and external sources, focusing on auditing and regulatory compliance.
  • Establish and assist in the implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), ensuring adherence to established processes within the health system.
  • Address customer inquiries, implementing necessary checklists, stock-out procedures, and recall effectiveness checks.
  • Work collaboratively with team members, management, and frontline customers to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Support the team and management in executing program strategy changes to foster program growth.
  • Engage proactively with vendors/suppliers to stay informed about evolving practices within product families to maintain adequate product supply, sharing insights with end-user leaders and management.
  • Ensure vendor/supplier compliance with health system policies and procedures, including consignment policy and vendor management protocols.
  • Actively participate in perpetual systems within the ERP, strategizing on opportunities for process improvement.
  • Engage in external collaborations to align industry best practices with internal workflows and processes, both process and system-driven.
  • Apply LEAN principles throughout the execution of duties.
  • Demonstrate the professional, clinical, and technical competencies required for the assigned unit or department.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field from an accredited institution.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • 5 or more years of experience in Supply Chain within a healthcare setting or relevant professional experience.
Preferred Certifications:
  • TUKHS Lean Certification.
Knowledge and Skills:
  • Proficient in computer applications, with the ability to learn and utilize various software, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Workday.
  • Understanding of database concepts and the ability to manipulate and analyze data using spreadsheets.
