Overview:


This role is pivotal in overseeing the orientation process for all nursing staff, representing CHRISTUS in various community engagements, and spearheading the planning, development, execution, and assessment of nursing continuing education initiatives.


Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is mandatory.
• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) is preferred.
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment or a compact state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required.
• Instructor certifications for BLS/ACLS/PALS and De-Escalation Certification are necessary if the educator is involved in Emergency Department or Behavioral Health Units.
