Job Summary:

The Healthcare Support Specialist is responsible for providing personal care and support to residents in accordance with their individual needs and preferences. This includes assisting with daily activities, maintaining a clean and safe living environment, and promoting independence and dignity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Personal Care: Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, and other personal care needs.
  • Supportive Services: Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, engage them in activities and hobbies, and promote socialization and community interaction.
  • Environmental Maintenance: Maintain a clean and safe living environment, including laundry, housekeeping, and restocking supplies.
  • Documentation: Accurately document resident information, including medical history, medication lists, and progress notes.

Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Licensure/Certification: Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in this state.
  • Skills: Ability to work effectively in a team environment, communicate clearly and respectfully with residents and staff, and maintain confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information.
