Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Correctional Healthcare Specialist to provide exceptional medical care to inmates in our institutions. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for conducting nursing procedures, administering medications, and developing treatment plans for emergency situations.

Responsibilities:
* Providing clinical, emergency care, and treatment to inmates
* Conducting nursing procedures, including wound care and phlebotomy
* Administering medications and recognizing signs and symptoms of diseases
* Assessing emergency situations using triage format and developing treatment plans
* Delegating non-nursing duties to unlicensed staff and maintaining accurate records of patient care
* Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care

Requirements:
* 2 years of experience in caring for physically ill or injured patients, including training in pharmacy and medical laboratory techniques and procedures
* Possession of an Oregon Licensed Practical Nurse certification and a valid First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Card
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
