Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Service Specialist to join our team at Johnstone Supply LLC. As a key member of our Distribution Team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our distributors, ensuring timely and accurate responses to their inquiries and requests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide customer service support to distributors via phone, email, and instant message, responding to inquiries and requests regarding products, pricing, vendors, and orders.
  • Follow up with distributors to ensure satisfactory resolution of their requests and track all inquiries to identify patterns and make process improvement recommendations.
  • Direct distributors to the appropriate person or department when necessary and follow up to ensure they have received a satisfactory response.
  • Monitor and process incoming Receiving Discrepancies through our RDT system, promptly resolving issues by coordinating with Distribution Centers and Vendors.
  • Provide distributors with packing list reprints and information regarding freight charges and shipping information on dropship orders.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college, or at least 2 years of experience in a customer service position, or equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts, apply concepts of basic algebra, and solve problems including listening to and interpreting customer needs.
  • Ability to organize and follow through with complete fulfillment of customer requests, listen to and communicate information to others verbally and in writing, and maintain confidentiality of information.
  • Skill in presenting a professional and positive demeanor and ability to work in a team environment.
