Position Overview:
This role is critical in supporting the manufacturing processes for Automotive Fuel Injectors, operating under the guidance of the Manufacturing Manager. The individual will be responsible for the development, assessment, and upkeep of product and process documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Control Plans, and other essential documentation to ensure compliance with TS16949 standards.
  • Design specifications for new product manufacturing and associated equipment, processes, and hardware.
  • Conduct cost-benefit analyses for new product introductions.
  • Collaborate with engineers and technicians to ensure successful product launches.
  • Offer technical guidance for designated product lines.
  • Identify and resolve issues related to quality and process enhancements.
  • Implement process improvements aimed at reducing scrap and waste.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Manufacturing Manager.

  • Technical Skills: Relevant experience and expertise in the field.
  • Communication Skills: Effectiveness in conveying information through various channels.

Qualifications:
Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering within a Tier 1 or Tier 2 automotive supplier or OEM.
  • Familiarity with ISO or QS systems.
  • Experience in project management.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
Preferred:
  • Experience in an automotive engineering environment.
  • Training in root cause analysis and problem-solving methodologies (e.g., Shainin, Six Sigma, etc.).
