Transportation Supply Chain Analyst

At Blue Origin, we're pushing the boundaries of space exploration and development. As a Transportation Supply Chain Analyst, you'll play a critical role in driving our transportation network's efficiency and capability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a transportation data collection and reporting strategy
  • Convert data into actionable business intelligence and insights
  • Write high-quality SQL codes to retrieve and analyze data
  • Work with large data sets, automate data extraction, and build monitoring/reporting dashboards
  • Interact with internal stakeholders to deep-dive outlier events
  • Analyze and solve business problems with a focus on understanding root causes and driving forward-looking opportunities
  • Communicate complex analysis and insights to stakeholders and business leaders, both verbally and in writing
  • Create models to provide recommendations on strategic decisions; Develop strategic business cases for senior leadership
  • Enable effective decision making by retrieving and aggregating data from multiple sources and compiling it into a digestible and actionable format
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, operations management, engineering, analytics, or a related field
  • MBA or equivalent business/analytical experience
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment involving ambiguity and high rates of change
  • Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion
  • Intense curiosity for understanding the details of our business and how to continuously improve it
  • 8+ years of business analysis or financial analysis experience
  • 8+ years of experience with Advanced Excel (including VBA, pivot tables, array functions, power pivots, etc.)
  • 5+ years of experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau
  • 5+ years of experience with SQL at a proficient level
  • Experience with working cross-functionally with tech and non-tech teams
  • Experience with managing, analyzing, and communicating results to senior leadership
  • Experience using data and metrics to draw business insights
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and negotiation skills
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum
