Job Title: Maintenance Staff Member

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Maintenance Staff Member. The primary purpose of this role is to maintain the overall cleanliness and safety of our senior community center.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the interior and exterior of the facility, including floors, offices, and bathrooms.
  • Empty trash and recycling bins daily and ensure they are placed outside for collection.
  • Test and maintain security and fire alarm systems.
  • Purchase and manage janitorial supplies, tools, and equipment.
  • Perform minor maintenance duties, such as replacing light bulbs and repairing locks.
  • Assist with seasonal tasks, such as installing and removing air conditioners.
  • Support special events and parties by setting up tables and chairs, decorating, and cleaning.
  • Demonstrate excellent attendance, timeliness, and respect for others.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Three years of relevant experience preferred.
  • Flexible, hospitable, and able to work independently.

Estimated Salary:$40,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience.
