Job Title: Senior Mechanical Engineer

Job Description:Job Summary:

The primary role of the mechanical engineer is to support system and subsystem product development.

The Senior Mechanical Engineer will work within a small multidisciplinary team which engages across many areas of RF and phased array antenna development projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support system and subsystem product development
  • Work within a small multidisciplinary team
  • Engage across many areas of RF and phased array antenna development projects
  • Develop risk reduction plans
  • Implement and validate performance at system level
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, MS Degree is a plus
  • 3-5 years of experience defining, developing, and testing system level mechanical designs
  • Passionate about electro-mechanical product design, inventing solutions, and finding better and simpler design approach to accelerate prototyping product
  • Build 3D models and perform finite element analysis
  • Rapidly prototype mechanical concept
  • Familiar with thermal management design for electronics
  • Experience in modeling using SolidWorks tool
  • Ability to perform first-principles analysis to ensure a successful design (physics, stress-strain, thermal, tolerance, cost and mass optimization, etc.)
  • Experience with FEA, ANSYS preferred
  • Desire to work in a small, dynamic, and fast-paced team environment
