Responsibilities:- Provide clinical and administrative leadership to the Gastroenterology and Hepatology Division
- Develop and implement strategic plans to advance the division's clinical, research, and educational programs
- Collaborate with department chairs, hospital administrators, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of divisional activities
- Recruit and retain top talent, including physicians, researchers, and educators
- Develop and manage divisional budgets, ensuring fiscal responsibility and accountability
- Establish and maintain relationships with external partners, including academic institutions, research organizations, and industry partners
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in pediatric gastroenterology, hepatology, and nutrition, and apply this knowledge to improve patient care and outcomes
- Board certification in pediatric gastroenterology
- Current Arizona medical license or ability to obtain one prior to starting
- Previous leadership experience in a pediatric gastroenterology division or similar setting
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders, including physicians, researchers, educators, and hospital administrators
