About the Role

Entegee is seeking a highly skilled Validation & Compliance Engineer to lead the agency approval process and ensure adherence to global regulatory standards.

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting and overseeing tests, analyzing results, and developing comprehensive test plans and performance criteria aligned with product characteristics and customer expectations.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for UL, CE, NSF, and other regulatory standards.
  • Lead the agency approval process by conducting and overseeing tests.
  • Analyze results to ensure adherence to global standards.
  • Develop comprehensive test plans and performance criteria aligned with product characteristics and customer expectations.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience with external agency approval processes or BS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • Familiarity with IEC60335, IEC60335-3-89, and UL standards.
  • Experience with electrical systems, including NEC codes, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
  • Knowledge of refrigeration systems and relevant components.
  • Experience with SolidWorks or similar solid modeling software.
  • Experience with data acquisition tools such as thermocouples, pressure sensors, and energy monitoring systems.
  • Experience with the UL Data Acceptance Program.
  • Experience with NSF and food sanitation.
