Job Title: Health System Director of Pharmacy

Join CPS Solutions, LLC as a Health System Director of Pharmacy and take on a leadership role in our pharmacy operations. As a key member of our team, you will oversee all pharmacy activities, including planning, organizing, controlling, and supervising, to ensure compliance with hospital policies, state and federal laws, and standards of practice.

About the Role:

This is a full-time, exempt position that requires a strong background in pharmacy operations, leadership, and management. You will be responsible for recommending innovations in pharmacy practice and function, carrying out mutually agreed-upon programs, and ensuring the security of pharmacies and controlled substances.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all pharmacy operations, including planning, organizing, controlling, and supervising activities
  • Recommend innovations in pharmacy practice and function
  • Carry out mutually agreed-upon programs with assistance from a full support team
  • Assist with the security of pharmacies and controlled substances
  • Recruit and hire pharmacy staff
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies, state and federal laws, and standards of practice
  • Enhance financial performance
About the Facility:

The Great Falls Clinic Hospital is a licensed 46-bed hospital that provides diverse specialty medical clinics, urgent care clinics, primary care, cancer center, and highly specialized surgical services. CPS Solutions, LLC has partnered with the hospital to manage the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy.

About the Pharmacy:

The pharmacy is open 24/7 and utilizes TouchPoint and Meditech systems. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced pharmacy director to lead our team and drive best-in-class pharmacy operations.

Requirements:
  • Pharmacy degree (BS or PharmD) from an ACPE accredited school of pharmacy; PharmD preferred
  • Current Montana Pharmacist license in good standing
  • 3+ years of recent Pharmacy Director experience in a complex health system
  • At least 5 years of experience as a pharmacist in an acute care hospital setting
