Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and modifications on company aircraft in accordance with Federal Aviation regulations and manufacturer requirements.
- Supervise maintenance performed by non-rated personnel and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Maintain and repair aircraft ground support equipment and assist with preparation for EAA AirVenture events.
- Embody the EAA mission and maintain a safe working environment.
- Stay up-to-date with technical knowledge, industry practices, and standards.
- Must comply with and pass all FAA Drug and Alcohol Testing program requirements.
- Knowledge and understanding of principles, theories, and concepts of aircraft maintenance.
- Ability to work in situations involving ambiguity, shifting priorities, and rapid change.
- Demonstrates resilience and composure in trying circumstances.
The job may require the ability to push, pull, bend, twist, raise, lay flat, and squat when needed. Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds with ease.
Preparation for AirVenture or other events may require lifting up to 50 pounds on occasion, standing and walking for extended periods of time while bending, squatting, kneeling, twisting, and using push and pull motions.
