Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and Observe Guest Experience: Regularly check in with guests to ensure that they are satisfied with their food and service, and respond promptly to any issues or concerns.
  • Take Food and Beverage Orders: Accurately take orders from guests, either verbally or through our point-of-sale system, and ensure that orders are delivered promptly and correctly.
  • Manage Cash and Credit Transactions: Handle cash and credit transactions efficiently and accurately, ensuring that all sales are processed correctly and that guests receive their change promptly.
  • Maintain a Clean and Organized Workspace: Ensure that the dining area and server station are clean and organized, and that all equipment and supplies are in good working order.
  • Work Collaboratively with Colleagues: Communicate effectively with colleagues to ensure that guest needs are met, and that the restaurant is running smoothly and efficiently.
Requirements
  • Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Dining Room and Service Procedures: Basic knowledge of dining room and service procedures and functions.
  • Mathematical Skills: Basic mathematical skills to handle cash and credit transactions accurately.
  • Language Skills: Able to understand and speak using the predominant language(s) of guests.
  • Physical Demands: Able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 5 hours), and safely lift and maneuver trays of food and containers weighing up to 25 pounds.
