Job Summary

As a Host or Hostess at Marriott, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their dining experience. You will be responsible for greeting guests, determining the number in their party, and seating them in a clean and comfortable environment. Your attention to detail and ability to multitask will ensure that every guest feels welcome and valued.

Key Responsibilities

* Greet guests and determine the number in their party
* Seat guests by finding a clean, available table and providing a clean/current menu
* Guide guests through the dining rooms and provide any needed assistance
* Move and arrange tables, chairs, and settings to ensure a comfortable and safe dining experience
* Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day, practicing clean-as-you-go procedures

Requirements

* High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
* No related work experience required
* Ability to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time
* Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance
