Role Responsibilities
As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will execute all standard nuclear medicine procedures. Your responsibilities will include:
- Ordering, preparing, and storing radiopharmaceuticals; administering injections as authorized by a physician.
- Collaborating with physicians to adjust diagnostic protocols.
- Processing raw data and reviewing studies for accuracy and quality.
- Implementing decontamination procedures and ensuring the security of radioactive areas.
- Participating in on-call duties and adapting to variable shifts as required by the department.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
- Certification by CNMT or ARRT in Nuclear Medicine.
- Basic Life Support Certification.
- Proficiency in performing Nuclear Medicine procedures in accordance with established standards.
