Job Title: Store Donation Attendant

As a key member of our store team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our donors, maintaining a clean and organized donation area, and handling transactions with accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service to donors, ensuring a positive experience and building a loyal customer base.
  • Maintain a clean and well-organized donation area, adhering to safety and security protocols.
  • Handle transactions with accuracy, including receiving and processing donations, and providing receipts to donors.
  • Sort and load donations onto trucks, ensuring efficient and safe transportation.
  • Support the production process as needed, including power sorting donations and assisting with inventory management.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to speak, write, and understand English in a manner sufficient for effective communication with leadership and field personnel.
  • Basic computer skills, including payroll programs and ability to learn other programs or systems.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions and deal with problems involving several concrete variables.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and move up to 100 pounds.

Working Conditions: This position is based in a store environment with a quiet to moderate noise level. The employee is routinely exposed to outdoor weather and may stand for extended periods.

Compensation: $11/hour
