At UW Health, we are looking for a Per Diem Speech Language Pathologist to:

  • Deliver consultative and developmentally appropriate habilitative and rehabilitative services to complex pediatric patients, ranging from infants to adolescents, in various settings including acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, and NICU.
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop comprehensive, evidence-based treatment plans that focus on maximizing functional outcomes and effective discharge strategies.
  • Engage in patient- and family-centered care within a primary and specialty care academic medical center.
  • Pursue continuous learning opportunities to enhance personal practice and contribute to the education of peers.

Qualifications:
Education:
Minimum - Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communicative Disorders.

Work Experience:
Minimum - Completion of Clinical Speech Language Pathology Fellowship.
Preferred - Experience in a medical environment as a Speech Language Pathologist.

Licenses and Certifications:
Minimum - Wisconsin state license (or eligibility) to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist.
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology (CCC - SLP).
Certification in Healthcare Provider Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Automatic External Defibrillator within three months of hire.
