About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at the University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics Authority. As a Clinical Speech Language Pathologist - Voice Specialist, you will be responsible for providing expert care to patients with voice and swallowing disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop personalized treatment plans for patients with voice and swallowing disorders.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients.
  • Perform advanced diagnostics, including acoustics, aerodynamics, stroboscopy, and flexible endoscopy.
  • Develop and implement new programs and outreach opportunities to improve patient outcomes.
  • Contribute to the education and training of residents, medical students, and speech-language pathologists.
  • Participate in clinical research and continuing education to stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in the field.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in diagnostics, including acoustics, aerodynamics, stroboscopy, high-speed imaging, flexible endoscopy, video fluoroscopy, and high-resolution manometry.
  • Experience in providing voice, airway, resonance, and swallow therapy.
  • Wisconsin Speech Language Pathologist (SL) license.
  • ASHA certified (CCC-SLP) or eligible for certification.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
