At UW Health, we are looking for a Per Diem Speech Language Pathologist to:
- Deliver consultative and developmentally appropriate habilitative and rehabilitative services to complex pediatric patients, ranging from infants to adolescents, in acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, and NICU environments, focusing on swallow, speech, language, and cognitive skills.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop comprehensive, evidence-based treatment plans for patients and their families, aimed at optimizing functional outcomes and discharge strategies.
- Engage in patient- and family-centered care within a primary and specialty care academic medical center.

Qualifications:
- Education: Minimum requirement of a Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communicative Disorders.
- Work Experience: Completion of a Clinical Speech Language Pathology Fellowship is required. Experience in a medical setting as a Speech Language Pathologist is preferred.
- Licenses and Certifications: Must possess a Wisconsin state license (or be eligible) to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist, along with a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology (CCC - SLP). Certification in Healthcare Provider Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Automatic External Defibrillator is required within three months of hire.
