Key Responsibilities:
Engage in the annual budgeting process for both capital and operational expenditures. Leverage existing relationships to benchmark performance and establish best-in-class targets aligned with long-term strategic goals.
Regularly update five-year financial projections based on the latest performance and market insights, conducting thorough sell/hold evaluations.
Maintain comprehensive long-term capital expenditure models for each property in collaboration with the VP of Facilities and Maintenance, identifying potential reserve shortfalls and devising mitigation strategies.
Formulate and implement renovation strategies aimed at minimizing capital outlay while maximizing long-term asset value. Work closely with the project management team to ensure timely and budget-compliant execution.
Collaborate with property tax consultants to oversee property tax assessments and manage tax appeal processes effectively.
Oversee and coordinate the due diligence for property acquisitions and sales, actively participating in negotiations of key business terms.
Assist leadership in preparing for tri-annual Development Committee meetings and Board of Directors sessions.

Qualifications:


We are looking for a candidate with a robust background in asset management, particularly within the hotel real estate sector.

Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills to effectively coordinate with various teams and stakeholders.
A Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Finance, Real Estate, Business Administration, or a related discipline is required; an MBA is preferred.
A minimum of seven years of progressive experience in asset management within the hospitality industry is essential.
Self-driven, highly collaborative, and capable of fostering strong relationships at all organizational levels.
A solid understanding of hotel operations, market trends, and industry dynamics.
An established network of industry contacts for benchmarking and market analysis.
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and with external partners.
Proven leadership experience with a track record of mentoring and developing high-performing teams.
Advanced proficiency in Excel is required.
Respect for the confidential nature of the role and departmental responsibilities is crucial.

Additional Information:
Salary range is between $120,000 - $168,000, with a base bonus of 15%.
