Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team at Jobot. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a critical role in maintaining our financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all daily accounting operations, including billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, cost accounting, inventory accounting, and revenue recognition.
  • Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
  • Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances.
  • Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements.
  • Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting.
  • Research technical accounting issues for compliance.
  • Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
  • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
  • Work closely with the management team to share reports and analysis findings.
  • Manage and track the performance of invested assets in keeping with policies and investment strategy.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the accounting field, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
  • Experience with creating financial statements and general ledger functions.
  • Excellent administration skills and a thorough understanding of Sage accounting software.
  • Strong understanding of business and income tax worksheets and computations.
  • Proven experience in financial analysis, forecasting, and strategic planning.
  • Strong attention to detail with an ability to analyze and understand financial data.
  • Ability to work independently, with little supervision.
